Please help! I have a Windows 10 machine that is running a AMD FirePro V7900 card. Crimson does not support this card, I have tried installing. I have to use the FirePro GL driver. and I am getting “GPU Returned Incorrect Data”
Driver Provider: Advanced Micro Devices. Inc.

Below is the text copied from claymores miner.

Did you follow the setup instructions that claymore tells you to do?
Set the following environment variables, especially if you have 1-2GB cards:
GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
and
set Virtual Memory size in Windows at least 16 GB:
“Computer Properties / Advanced System Settings / Performance / Advanced / Virtual Memory”.

does that GPU stuff just sit in the config.txt?

Tried that to no avail.
the machine has 32Gb Ram and 20Gb Virtual Memory (Paging file) but still fails.

No, as it says it goes in the environment variables
?? you asked if it went into the config.txt , I said no, it goes in the environment variables, if it went into any text file I would have said that.
Again you have to place it in your system environment varibles

sorry i normally use Nvidia cards.
I have put the items into the system variables but the same error still happens
even with Nvidia cards you are supposed to place those in…
screenshot of what you placed in environment variables
You have it in the correct place, are you overclocking? Have afterburner or something installed?
also which version of claymore are you using?
is the GPU directly to the mobo or riser?

no nothing like that the card is at std clocks with no 3rd party software.
also which version of claymore are you using? asking to make sure you are on the latest
is the GPU directly to the mobo or riser? could be a bas riser
There is a solution on the ETH forums with a similar issue to your’s. I reinstall of the O/S resolved the issue

using v12.6, connected directly to Mobo. i have scoured the web to try and find an answer but nothing comes up in other forums. i have 5 other identical machines so going to try it on another one and see what results i get.

Just tried it on two other identical machines and the same error occurs! Dam AMD v7900’s
install the NiceHash software and see if it runs there

NiceHash BTC GUI Miner works, GPU pulling around 100 MH/s so why not ZCash…

also tried MinerGate which seemed to mine but very slowly, it was saying that the CPU was mining faster than the GPU…
