I’ve been testing a Gigabyte 1050Ti 4GB and Zotac 1070 8GB Amp as well and the 1060’s are by far the best sol/w/£$ ratio. Although the 1060 cards have jumped £50 in price this past 10days.

I’m pulling 119-122w at 300-320sol/s with my 1060. Undervolt. Nahhh. I don’t pay for hydro. Plus its more cost efficient to overclock it to get faster speeds so you have a tad more profit and income for the cost of hydro.

I tried a new mobo, same make and model and the same results. SO I went back to basics and just plugged each card in and rebooted after each like you said and TAH DAH! four GPU’s!! Thanks very much!

Uhm. So i got my riser. Installed my second 1060 and attached all the cables but its not being picked up anywhere Let alone letting me mine with it. Any help?
Just wanted to jump in on this conversation. I have 3 PNY 1060’s hashing at 320-330+ each for a total from 985-1010/sols.
Clock: +210 (2025ish)
Mem: +800 (4608) go any higher than +800 and it crashes.
Driver: 382.53
Attempted leaving clock at stock and memory at 4700 and hash rate went down to 300-310. Too much of a loss IMO. This has been stable for days.

It’s EWBF and you add --pec to the command line for the efficiency stats in the window as well as --api 127.0.0.1:42000 to get the little website info page.

Sorry for the late reply. I use EWBF. With a script to restart it on failure. And mine on slushs pool. It’s been my Goto poo since 2006. And will continue to be for all coins.
I have always found slushs pool to give a way better result. Example. We will hit some downtime and luck will be bad. I’ll switch pools for a bit. Just to find out luck become twice as good on slushs pool. So I stay.
Example. is this. On one pool it could say your estimated profit is .1 zcash per month.
But on slushs. Due to the luck. You could see double that in less time.
I’ve never ever been let down with slushs pool. Even with little hashpower. I’ve only been let down if I leave slushs pool.
I really like Slushpool’s interface. I just don’t like that I could mine for 20 hours and in a half hour period someone points their rented hashrate (or farm) at it, a block is found and I’ve taken less than half of what I was suppose to get. That’s why I don’t use Slush anymore. Perhaps it’s gotten better, I’m not sure.

The interface is one of the main things that keeps me their. Not to mention the estimation is 95% of the time. Bang on. Where as other pools I used. Are not.
However. I do agree with that statement and have noticed it. But I refuse to change. Because my result and reward has always been much higher with slush than i’ve ever found with any other pool.
There’s actually very little difference in reward regardless of which pool you use. The difference is in frequency of payment. Overall it evens out. Large pools you receive smaller payments more quickly. Small pools you receive larger payments further apart.

I just don’t see the point in faster payouts. As if I’m going to hit say .1 zcash at the same time with any pool. OR even a day or so earlier than others. It’s not my biggest concern.
I also have not really found pools I find to be reliable, or as precise as slushs pool.
Especially having right now. Below 500sol/s(zcash) Untill my buddy gets his 1060 and I get my riser.

I have two the same gtx 1060 Asus Rog strix OC 6gb cards on my rig, and here’s a result:
At first, you must download and install stock driver. Asus cards are very specific and works best with drivers recommended by producer. You can find driver on Asus site for your card.
Also, don’t push core over +100, it’s already overclocked.
