Miner- Claymore's Zcash Miner

good tip , i have just tried that. however, from the moment i moved my rig to another location (garage) and dont have a monitor conneced to it anymore, it does not show certain things anymore in msi afterburner (like gpu clock/mem clock and voltage and temperature). i guess it’s because of not having a monitor connected.

i have tried also with gpu-z, and while it does show the default clock for gpu and memory, it does not show the current clock for gpu and memory. it does show the vddc in the senors tab however, i’m going to play around with it a little.

what is the best driver for a rig with a mix of r9 280, 280x and 7970s ?
Should i go with Windows 10 (which driver ?) or with Ubuntu ( which distro and which driver ? ) ?

Hello. Can i somehow get statistic in console automaticly every 5 minute?
Sometimes miner frozen and do not getting new jobs. So, if i push “s” he is restarting with msg: “Miner thread hangs, need to restart miner!”.
In logs nothing suspicious.

Well, i did find answer by myself. With android app Claymore’s Dual Miner Monitor i set up automatic verification statistics every 5 minute. Who is good boy?

I would suggest to setup a monitoring software like this for monitoring: http://mylifegadgets.com/setup-ethmonitoring-miner-software/

Hi guys and gals,
I have a single gpu rig at the moment -
mobo - asrock H81M-HDS R2.0
gpu - powercolor R9 280x
OS - lubuntu 15.10
gpu driver - 15.201

I’m having a little trouble getting zecminer to execute. I’m getting the following error in terminal ./start.bash: line 2: ZecMiner64.exe: command not found. I have try with and without #!/bin/bash, also I have put in the full path to zecminer.exe with no pro-vale. Dose anyone have any suggestions please.

Cheers

Hi. I don’t think the binary is called ZecMiner64.exe on Linux. Edit the bash script (“start.bash” in your case ) and rename the binary with zecminer64. Better add the absolute path to the binary. Something like this :

#!/bin/bash

GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100

/home/enzeperix/Downloads/Claymore-Zcash-AMDv12.0/zecminer64 -zpool zcl.suprnova.cc:4042 -zwal pig_killer.Worker_hol -zpsw simplepassword -allpools 1 -i 4,4,4,4

Does anyone know the correlation between the accepted shares ( found and accepted) and the earnings ? The more accepted shares per minute , the more you earn ?

hi !
i use 3x7970 ghz edition and claymore said running in intensity 5.
before setup 2nd card, claymore run with intensity 6

Now claymore say : not enough gpu memory, intensity reduced 5

I has try “-i 6” but not working

idea ? thank you everyone

i’m on WIndows 10, pro x64, Catalyst 15
using MSI AB, 1,125v - 1100Mhz-1500Mhz

Hi, i’ve been mining zen for couple of days and i’m using claymore v12.5 and after lets say around 7-9 hours miner disappears and in log file i see this:

can anyone tell me what to do to make it work normal?

Looks like the zen pool you were connected to kicked you for not being authorized or invalid wallet address

Any VEGA test results ? Thank you!

I am runing 6x580

and make config file like default:

-tt 80 *i know this is for temperature and put 80C max
-i 8 * not sure what to put
-powlim 90 * i know this is for max power and put 90
-a 2 * I DONT KNOW WHAT IS THIS ???
-asm 0 *I DONT KNOW WHAT IS THIS ???
-allpools 1

What r this 2 rows about ?
-a2 ?
-asm 0 ?

Do i need something more in this config file ?
Something to change ? Maybe -i … like 4 max, but often i found ppl put 6,7,8…

I want to use best from GPU

I suggest
-tt 75
-i 8
-a 0
-asm 1

if you have issues change to
-i 7

You should export those environment variables otherwise they visible in you bash script only, but not in zecminer64. Change your script like this:

...

export GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0
export GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
export GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100

...

I have 2 amd cards r9 290 and amd rx580 sapphire nitro +. When I put both to mine i receive error like gpu incorrect returned. When I remove one of them, it works fine. Can somebody helps me? I am using claymore and windows 10. I have pus of 800w
thanks in advance.

So either card will work by itself? but not together…

What version is your drivers?
are you overclocking?
please paste your config file settings…

Hi guys,

Its my first post here, hope someone can help.

I bought recently R9 Nano at discounted price to try to mine zcash.

Previously I used R9 280X, 16.7.3 drivers and got stable 290-300 H/s, mining with Claymore 12.0 Beta (eventually 12.4 or 12.6, but 12.0 worked best).

My CPU is Core i3 43130, PSU - Corsair 600W

Now there seems to be a problem.

With 16.3.2 drivers i got around 320 H/s (powertune +50), but still, the rig restarted after around one hour (so I cant work properly overnight)

Now - inly Claymore 12.6 works giving 330-350 H/s, other versions tend to crash or show 0 H/s. ASM algorithm doesnt work (either shows 0 H/s or WatchDog restarts mining).
I tried the recommended 16.3.2 drivers, 16.7.3 which worked fine on 280X and latest - 17.7.1.

Also - when I plugged both Nano and 280x, Nano got 250 H/s, 280x got 290 h/s. (but, as my PSU got only 600W i didnt run this in long term not to stress it too much).

Moreover - to check if the nano GPU I ran stress test in Furmark and the results were fine - comparable with the results i found on the web.

What do you guys recommend to do?
Fury’s/Nano should get at least 400 h/s…

Get the 15.12 driver’s you will see 450 sol/s
