Could we use some type of zero knowledge proofs to prove the total amount of coins at any given time?
Will there be a way to audit the total supply of coins at any given time in the future? This would be a good feature to ensure that no new coins are being created by bugs we are not aware of in the future.
I think It’s not possible. We suppose to have zero knowledge in protocol and the only way to get total supply is sum all exist coins in each addresses (z and t).
In other hand if zero knowledge proof works as it suppose, no one can make coin from thin air and If there is some way to crack, then we can not trust proof of supply shown by protocol also.
