Miner- Optiminer/Zcash GPU miner v1.7!

Thank you @Optiminer

RX 480 - 300
R9 Fury - 420
390X - 370

Do you happen to know how many watts are the RX470 8GB using?

I do not think there was any change related to resolving hosts. I am not sure what you mean about “DNS slows things down”. If you specify your proxy as ip address there will not be any dns lookup either way. I do not recommend to run the miner on systems that are not able to resolve host. The miner tries to connect to proxy.optiminer.pl for the dev fee. If it fails, it will run in the slower --nodevfee mode.

don´t use any intensity.
The core at 1100
don´t change the mem (default 1500)

Hi what is the exact model of your R9 Fury?
Thank you.

I have 3 rig 390 cards
On 2 rig does not start 1 card, and when I try to close the miner, the error of denying access.
In version 1.5, the same was observed in Problem 1 rig
version 1.5 runs on 1 rig mistake of denying access, version 1.6 works well.
2 rig 1.5 works well, the version 1.6 the error of denying access
Version 1.4 works well on all cards
Thank you

Optiminer
you can fix problemmu denial of access?
Windows 8.1
You can fix problemmu denial of access?
Different versions for different work, I do not think that in Problem windose because version 1.4 cards do not fall off and everything works well.
Thank you

no, sorry, I don’t. I think some of my first builds were with the Sapphire RX470-8G, but I need to upgrade the power supply to platinum then get the wattmeter on them and do some calcutions. Since I’m not going to be using RX470’s going forward, it will probably take a little while to go forward.

I’m going to take @dlehenky advice and build my new rigs with R9 Fury Nano only. First I’ll try to find used boards, then get new ones. They use less power than the R9 Fury X boards, and I want my 6 rig GPU to have the most hashes and the least power possible.

OK, thanks. Currently running great! 445-450 sols/s on the Nanos and no real power increase. Everything stable, so far.

Don’t neglect to undervolt the Nanos! And set your PL high (+50, with atitweak) to ensure full rated core clock at all times.

Ok, I will do the changes. It seem my internet is not stable and optiminer is very sensitive to internet, today the miner 1.1.6 is stable now at 2055 S/s 6x R9 390 1070/1500

Stock MSI RX480 4GB averaging low 290s across 6 cards on initial test of 1.6. Good update. Now to monitor uptime.

have same problem since version 1.6 on windows…

What speeds are RX480 8G getting with 1.6 running windows

Has anyone got a bat file for this? Tried to use the one from 1.5.0 but doesnt work? Im using windows 10

Update… -c 1 did the trick
Awesome miner bro :sunglasses:

I am getting this now when I run 1.6. Seems it finds GPU2 but it never is show to be running. Also sometimes I try to close the running window in ubuntu it freezes the machine.

It’s likely that GPU is hung. Try a lower intensity for it.

I did a power cycle twice.

If you get CL_INVALID_BINARY or access denied errors with 1.6.0 try to specify the platform. You can use --list-device to list all platform and devices and then choose the one with the AMD GPUs by specifying the corresponding platform number with the -c flag.

I enabled non-AMD platforms because I was testing NVIDIA mining, but forgot to disable this for the release :pensive:
