What advantage would we have if everyone moved to ASICs? It would just raise the current bar for everyone, reduce us to one supplier of hardware, and starts a arms race.

THIS WOULD REDUCE ALL MINERS TO ONE SUPPLIER and give BITMAIN more control over what can and cannot be implemented in the future.
